Notes on Information Distribution:
1. A primary purpose of the Edestol™ program is electrical equipment, wire, cable, and raceway sizing.
2. NFPA 70, the National Electrical Code©, contains an extensive series of tables and rules which direct electrical sizing decisions and calculations.
3. The Edestol program has organized these tables and rules into a background database called SysData.
4. This background database (Sysdata) is accessed by the program to inform sizing decisions and calculations based on user input.
5. This background database (SysData) is not visible or accessible to the user in any way.
6. Although the program, in some cases, identifies a code reference location for the decision or calculation, the full text of the code is not provided to the user.
7. The Edestol™ program has been developed as a complimentary tool for sizing assistance to the code user.
